I'm finding this latest link, the "Go to the latest up-to-the minute additions" link on the "Recently Added Books and Magazines" page to be a nuisance.
They said the change was made per user request.
Are you guys liking it?

It's OK but not necessary in my opinion. I always used to check early in the
day and then again at the end of the day to see if there were new books so don't really feel this new link is necessary. But I guess I can appreciate their attempts to give patrons what they request. If you find it a nuisance, then just don't use it. Just go to the link to look at recently added books, and you will see recently added books through the previous day. For example, if I looked at that link today, I would see the most recently added books through Saturday. If I want to see if anything has been added today, I would have to click on that extra up to the minute link. If I want to wait until tomorrow to see what was added today, then I would go on their tomorrow and just click on the most recently added books link and not bother with the up to the minute link.

Oh, yes, I understand it just not crazy about it.
BARD had me well trained to check a few times a day for updates, not I just have to make one more click to get to them.
I'll adjust!

I didn't even notice it; will have to check before midnight, in case the site gets shut down. Thanks!

How could you not notice? There was an announcement about it, and every time there is a new feature they want you to know about, you have to click "okay" before you finish loggingn onto the site.

If you mean the iPhone app, I typed NLS Bard into the search field and found it that way. But with the government shut-down, the app won't do you any good at the moment.

I loved it while it worked. Now the whole site is shut down--so is the rest of the government <lol>.
